- Scientist-turned-entrepreneur. I have a MS in Biomedical Sciences from the State University of New York, Univ. at Buffalo. I've worked in lab and clinical research at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. I enjoy working with people and always look for the "human element" in anything I do. I have a creative streak wide as a barn door that has often struggled for supremacy against my technical side!
Several life changes in rapid succession, including relocation to India and motherhood, along with increased social and environmental awareness, resulted in a "meeting of passions," which took a very interesting turn: The creation of Beauté Naturelle, India's first internet-based boutique, (e-boutique) for Nature-inspired personal care. The focus is on pure beauty without chemicals, animal testing or ill-effects on the environment.
We also promote products made through programs designed to employ rural women and preserve forests.
In short, my enterprise offers people a chance to look and feel wonderful, do the right thing for the environment, and give back to the community at the same time. All with the ease and convenience of online shopping backed by a trusted and secure payment gateway.
