Science and applied science are two different things. A discovery may be groundbreaking from a scientific perspective, it's of no use to you unless one is able to comprehend the full range of its commercial applications. But also understand that the goal is to create commercially successful applications from the research. The process of taking a product from the research lab to store shelves hinges on collaboration.
I am here looking out of collabroations and patenerships ,a passion to do some thing ....in short I believe in the scientist acumen of Nikola Telsa but at the same time the enterpreneur opportunity of Edison.
"Science is but a perversion of itself unless it has, as its ultimate goal the betterment of humanity" ......- Nikola Tesla.
Anything that won't sell, I don't want to invent. Its sale is proof of utility, and utility is success. .........Thomas A. Edison

Hi Mahen,

Thanks for your mail. Please note my email prashant@ratnachhaya.com.

I persoanlly interested in developing small power plants to accomodate local needs. This area is becoming very viatl as the most expenses for electricity are paid for transport rather than generation. I am open for all or any feasible generation technique. We must continue to discuss to find best possible solution.

I am also in process of forming a company which will initially involved in research in any science/engg area. This company comprising of people in various displine will assist each other and try to generate IPR which will be commercially sellable.

We have already begun registration process and soon launching website.

BTW I was in NCL during 1998-2001 in Polymer Science Engineering group associated with Che Engg division. Worked under Ashish Lele and V Premnath with Dr. Mashelkar's group.
