Starting a new venture

I want to start a new business of organizing one-day ( to start with ) workshops on financial management. Shall appreciate advice on how to go about it particularly regarding registration of the business under various statutes ( Shops and Establishments Act, Service Tax, etc. ).

Shall be grateful for quick response.
