I am looking for multiple freelancers in Java and microsoft technologies.

I could not find proper link to post jobs under section 'start up jobs'. Finally I ended up writing a post which I am able to see under 'My Page'.

Appreciate your help to let me know how to post jobs?

Hello Everybody !

                            I came to know about punestartups.org recently and this seems to be a great way to network and meet like-minded people !  I am Abhishek Pohankar. I have completed my B.tech in Mechanical Engineering. Worked with a core industry for about a year but it did not seem to work for me. So , I switched to software development ( thing I always loved to do !)


Currently , I am working on a Java program of my own called Guitar Cube (based on Sound API). Planning to release it as a freeware as soon as it is done !

I am also looking for a job with a start-up development firm.

I've recently joined punestartups.org. I'm a IT professional from Pune. after working in IT for 14+ years I've decided to follow my passion of flower arrangements and would like to start something on this front limited to Pune area. I'm trained in Ikebana flower arrangements and have been doing flower arrangements at home and in exhibitions both in Pune and in US. I've created a portfolio showcasing my arrangements.

Hi Everyone,

A bit embarrassed to see so many hi-tech and hi-value businesses being planned or being run but thinking that they also might have been like mine one day gives hope.

 

I am new to 'Start a Business' thing and with the idea in mind and encouragement and help from my husband have purchased website and as I wish to avoid trademark registration as of now I will be doing business also with the name of website only. See, as my website is http://mobilecabs.in, I have planned to start my business with name of MobileCabs.in

  

As I do not have sufficient fund to start from a shop and employ people, as of now I will start it from my resident and one of my family member will help me in running it. I have also talked with one of the Shop Owner for collecting money from the people associated with us or any paper work to be done with MobileCabs.in and he will be working as one of our agent. Our own operation will be totally phone oriented and internet based.

 

This business will be totally Sole Proprietory to me.

 

So following are my questions:

1. Do I need any registration if I do it from my rented residence. My owner is creating problem if we ask him to allow us for shop act registration. Can we proceed without this registration at least for next 5-6 months untill turn over reaches at least 20000 per month?

2. If I purchase phone connection on my name and my residence address, will it give any problem if used it for business purpose?

3. If I am not required to do any registration (Sole proprietorship), Can I still advertise my business by flyers, posters or stickers on vehicles etc?

 

And anything related with this I would need to know. Please respond because my startup plans are getting delayed everyday because of so many confusions arising.

Here are your answers -

>> in India if you need to operate a buisness, it needs to be registered. You need a shop act for proprietary concern. Please note : for a proprietary concern, you as an individual will be shouldering the risk.

>> technically it would be difficult to prove personal vs buisness use. But the right way would be to have it on the name of the buisness.

>> for a buisness to be run, registration is required.
