The early adopters are missing: While E-commerce, SaaS and enterprise software companies still manage to find workarounds, this deeply hurts consumer internet startups. The one's that bank on going viral for Indian consumers first and then plan to reach out to audience across the globe. I know of several good startups that had no option but to either shut shop or pivot for a meager valuation. If there were enough people willing to play around with the product early on, the fate of those startups would have been very very different.

You hit the bulls eye with this point Nishith, I think start-up's fate largely depends on early adopters.

Unfortunately even some good start ups meet their fate simply because they dont get early adopters & hence dont get the essential feedback to move in right direction.

Its sad but true !
