Avyan Consulting and its ISV business unit Cloudneeti, are dedicated to enable Customers for an easy, effective and efficient transformation to automated security and compliance monitoring for Azure infrastructure and O365 configurations providing key insights into the security & compliance posture. We’re growing rapidly and are currently seeking a Senior Security Consultant to join our Consulting and Product Engineering team.

What you'll do:

  • Scope, plan, and lead client engagements.
  • Work closely with customers to assess their IT security posture and identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities in relation to the various benchmarks PCI, HIPAA, CIS, GDPR.
  • You will be responsible for assessing the security controls implemented within or inherited by an information system to determine the overall effectiveness of the controls.
  • Own relationship with Alliance/Partner team (PCI, CIS, CSA)
  • Drive certification requirements, program manage certification with the internal product team
  • Drive quarterly local Chapter events/Facilitate local chapter board discussion
  • Prepare Collateral for Compliance training for various benchmark

What you'll bring:

  • Five or more (5+) years of experience in an IT security audit, assessment, and/or compliance role
  • Strong knowledge of the security standards (PCI, HIPAA)
  • Experience in preparing and presenting Tier 1 and Tier 2 Reports on Compliance (ROCs)
  • Strong consultative skills, with the ability to advise and consult with Executives and Technical professionals.
  • A solid understanding of IT security technologies including network and application security, firewalls, access management, and data protection
  • Experience with one or more other IT security compliance frameworks, such as PCI, HIPAA, FEDRAMP, or HITRUST
  • Bachelor's degree (four-year college or university) or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Experience and success in managing client engagements and consulting service delivery, as well as scoping and pricing IT security assessments, with an understanding of engagement economics and profitability
  • Proven experience as a thought leader and subject matter expert to covered entities and business associates
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIPP or equivalent certification with experience.
  • Experience performing IT security risk assessments and gap analysis
  • Familiarity with assessing public cloud environments.
  • Ability to lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
