Mohnish Sharma, a Serial Entrepreneur, is the Co-Founder/CEO of Harabaag. Prior to Harabaag, Mohnish was CEO of an agri-tech company (DestaGlobal) and a financial journalism company (Simplus).
He brings over 23 years of experience across multiple domains: Technology (Senior Manager at a Fortune 500 Software company, Java Architect), Finance – (MBA (Investments), Passed CFA Levels I, II and III), and Marketing (20+ digital marketing projects over the last 7 years)
Harabaag is building the nation-wide business network of participants (farmers, graders/packers, middlemen, processors, logistics/cold-chain, warehouses, and institutional buyers) in the post-harvest supply chain.
Participants will be able to use the product to
· Track produce as it makes its way across the supply chain
· Find additional business partners
With respect to the traditional system, Harabaag offers...
· greater transparency on products, prices, quality, timing
· a quicker discovery of alternate vendors
· an easier and fool-proof system of record
· system-wide visibility in the supply-chain
As part of operationalizing this, Harabaag is setting up four distinct Blockchains.
Identity - Farmer/participant Identity
Pre-harvest – how the crop was grown, products used, etc.
Post-harvest – value-added and chain of custody
Transactions – who sold what (and when) to whom for how much
In addition to this, Harabaag has tied up with an accelerator (Startereum) to investigation opportunities to tokenize and/or do an ICO.
Through the event, we will get to learn
- Understanding Blockchain
- Opportunities and business models around BlockChain
- Opportunities in Agriculture supplychain
- Tokenization and ICOs
