Event Description

The POCC and Persistent Systems, are hosting an interactive session on “Running a Start-up within an established Corporate”.

The event is targeted to those Entrepreneurs who have an idea and looking for a corporate to fund them, or would like run a startup venture already in existence within the corporate. Dr. Anand Deshpande, Founder and CEO, Persistent Systems, will share some of his thoughts and business models around running a startup within Persistent Systems.  Persistent currently has product innovation happening in several domains – cloud, BI&A, Mobility, Collaboration,  and Life Science, several of which are multi-million dollar start-up’s, with significant growth opportunities.  You should attend, if you have the passion and drive to run a start up venture, within the safeguards of a large, established corporate.

1. Introduction to Persistent’s investment models – 30 mins.
2. Overview of Persistent’s IP Portfolio – 15 mins.
3. Case Study – Klisma – Ajay Aggarwal, 30 mins
4. Q&A – 20 mins
5. High Tea and socializing – 1 hr


The event will he hosted at Persistent Systems, 1A Big Conf Room, Bhageerath, Senapati Bapat Road, between 4.00 to 5.30 PM, followed by high tea. 

Event will start sharp at 4pm. Registration is closed.

Well, in accordance with the mail regarding confirmation of attendance; I will be at Bhageerath for CloudCamp, so I definitely intend to attend this event, but will most likely be a little late owing to the overlap I pointed out in my last comment.
