This talk is proposed to show a novel way to develop software, Xsemble (http://xsemble.com), created by a Pune based startup. In that, one could draw a flow visually, brainstorm on it, and go to software programmers only for developing individual components. The components can be burnt with the flow (like you burn a CD) to create software application.

Xsemble was selected to be showcased at SEAP Pune Connect, NASSCOM Product Conclave; and it is now shortlisted in NTT Data open innovation contest and ISEC 2019. Find out what makes Xsemble a great way to develop software.

Who Gets Benefited:

(1) Startup founders who have a business idea and want to develop a product - Now you can draw the flow yourself, and go to programmers for developing the components. You can distribute the components among programmers in such a way that the programmers are utilized optimally.

(2) Budget projects - We have proven that simple components can be developed by junior programmers or even students who are considered useless. Using that, and the DIY mode, you can name your price of software development - even zero. We will show you how.

(3) Domain experts or Product owners - Now you can truly own a software. You can make sure that the software does exactly as you wanted it to work, and not be at the mercy of programmers who might have incorrect or incomplete understanding of your domain. You give programmers small components to develop, and accept them based on test cases. You control how these components are invoked in the application, as you completely own the flow.

(4) Strong IP / Defense Projects - You can utilize programmers for creating components without exposing the big picture to them. Distribute components among disparate programmers such that your IP is protected.

Speaker:

The speaker is the inventor of this technology, Ashish Belagali. He is an IIT Bombay alumnus with 24+ years of experience. He is also an ex POCC leader. He likes people and technology, and explores areas where technology can be used to solve business challenges.
