Event Description

The Distributed Systems Conference is brought to you by the Distributed Systems Meetup Pune group.

As one of the most active technology groups in Pune, the Distributed Systems Meetup group has held meetups around pioneering technologies including distributed systems, big data, software architecture and complex problems in the tech world.

The one day Distributed Systems Conference, to be held on the 21st of April in Pune will see variety of talks by industry veterans and academicians alike.

A brief about the line up so far:

  • The Many Flavours of Consensus” - A talk by Dr. Sriram Srinivasan thats takes a deep dive into variety of problems and solutions that are lumped under ‘Consensus’
  • Operability and Observability of Big Data Ecosystem” - Most big data projects don’t make it to production. This talk will explore the reasons for the same and how the situation can be improved. Presented by Dr. Sandeep Deshmukh.

  • "Why We Built A Distributed System" - Indix had a bunch of services that needed to operate on top of large volume of product data. They had problems where existing solutions wouldn’t really work. The solution was to build a couple of “simple” distributed systems, which later resulted in Suuchi - a toolkit for distributed data systems.

Attendees need to purchase tickets. More details on the website: https://dsconf.in
