Event Description

The Pune Open Coffee Club for startups and entrepreneurs meets regularly, first Saturday of every month.

4pm to 6pm: Networking with Open Coffee Club members and discussion on how we can use http://punestartups.org for the benefit of the Startup eco-system.

I would like to invite you to come down to Grubshup, Law College Road for our September Pune Open Cofffee Club meetup. This meetup will be focused on networking and on discussing on how you would like to see the website be put to work for the benefit of the startup eco-system.

This is also to extend a big thank you to our donors who have ensured that we can maintain our online platform where many of you have made business connections, posted ideas, questions and events. Our sponsors are,

Hi Atul, good point on retaining people. Unfortunately, there is nothing much you can do about employees who will leave you for bigger companies.

You need to find employees who will work with you for the love of doing a small company that has promise and is growing quickly. That is your best selling point. A company that is growing quickly also offers employees a unique opportunity to climb the ladder quickly!

Also - can you please have the discussion point as to how to retain people in running start up as you see in recent weeks, the companies like syntel,infosys,wipro and others are hiring in bulk (Dont know if they fire in bulk as well) and taking away the effort put by startup in builing the talent for their growth.. its actually killing the start up prematurely:)
